UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the prestigious First-Class Order of Zayed II on Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen strategic ties between the two nations. The medal, one of the UAE’s highest honors, was presented by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Abdullah commended the depth of the UAE-India relationship, praising Sudhir for his role in enhancing cooperation across multiple fields during his tenure. For his part, Ambassador Sudhir expressed gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed, thanking him for his leadership and acknowledging the support of UAE government institutions. “I deeply appreciate His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s wise leadership and the prominent role he plays regionally and internationally,” Sudhir said.
