An Indian engineer in Abu Dhabi is the latest millionaire after winning the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw on Wednesday (June 26). Khaliq Naik Mohammed won $1 million (Dh3.67 million) with ticket number 3813, which he bought online on June 13. The Indian expat said he plans to use the money to pay for the education of his three children. “I will also do some charity work,” said Mohammed. The 48-year-old Indian works as an engineer and instructor at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi where he has lived since 2012. Mohammed said he has been buying tickets to Dubai Duty Free’s draws in the last four years and is happy with his windfall. “This is really great; thank you so much, Dubai Duty Free! You have made the lives of so many people, and I am grateful to be one of them,” he said. ICA/Expat Media
