An Indian expat living in the UAE for over two decades tragically died in a car crash while on an Eid getaway with her family. Sajinabanu, 54, from Kozhikode, Kerala, was traveling with her husband and son, Jawad Nas, to Al Ain when the accident occurred on April 1. According to police, the family was on their way to a resort when Jawad lost control of the vehicle on the main road. Sajinabanu was ejected from the car and sustained fatal head injuries. She died instantly at the scene. Rescue teams quickly arrived, attending to the injured passengers, including Jawad and other family members, who sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident, with early reports suggesting that speeding may have played a role in the crash. On Wednesday (April 2), Sajinabanu’s remains were repatriated to Kerala, where she will be laid to rest. Her family and friends are mourning her untimely loss. ICA/Expat Media
