An overnight camping trip turned fatal for a 32-year-old Indian expat, S.M., who fell to his death at Jebel Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. Authorities recovered the body on Tuesday morning (December 3) and transported it to Saqr Hospital. The deceased has since been repatriated to Kerala, India, for burial. A representative from the World Malayali Council shared insights into the incident, revealing that S.M., a Dubai-based mechanical supervisor, had camped with three friends. Tragically, he fell in the early hours. S.M. worked in Dubai and resided in Al Quoz. Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah police urged residents to exercise caution while exploring mountainous terrains, emphasizing safety precautions during outdoor activities. ICA/Expat Media
