Indian expat in Dubai wins Dh15 million with free Big Ticket entry

An Indian expatriate in Dubai can’t believe his luck after winning Dh15 million in Big Ticket with his first free ticket in two years. Ashish Moholkar’s ticket won the jackpot during the monthly Big Ticket draw on Sunday (December 3). Moholkar said he decided to try his luck with Big Ticket’s promotion of a free ticket if he bought two tickets to the draw. It was his free ticket that won him the jackpot. The Indian expat, who works as an account manager for an insurance company in Dubai, said his win was a “complete shock”. Moholkar said he has yet to decide how he will spend his Dh15 million, and that he will be consulting his wife and his mother. The next Big Ticket draw will be on January 3, with a Dh20 million jackpot up for grabs. Big Ticket is considered the oldest raffle draw in the UAE since it was launched in 1992. ICA/Expat Media
