The body of a 12-year-old Indian girl who fell to her death from a high-rise building in Sharjah was repatriated on Saturday (May 13), according to report. Social worker Ashraf Vadanappilly told media that the body was flown to India for burial on Saturday morning. The deceased hailed from the Indian state of Kerala. The girl fell from the 17th floor of a residential building in Sharjah’s Al Nahda area on Wednesday. She was alone at home after returning from school at the time of the incident. The girl’s mother, a teacher at the same school, was working at the time of the incident, while her father was in India. An autopsy report from Al Qassimia hospital in Sharjah said that the girl died due to a head injury.
