Indian man wins Dh10 million Big Ticket Abu Dhabi draw on birthday

DUBAI – The recent winner of the Big Ticket draw in Abu Dhabi got double the luck that day: he won the Dh10 million jackpot on his birthday! A Big Ticket official had published a social media announcement after Ravindra Boloor remained out of reach during the draw date, sparking the hashtag #FindRavi on social media. Finally, officials were able to contact Boloor’s daughter, who told them he is currently in Mumbai, India and is scheduled to return to the UAE on April 27. Boloor has been working in the UAE in the last 30 years, according to Big Ticket. The expat has reportedly been participating in the draw in almost 18 years and has bought a ticket “more than 100 times already”. This time, he bought the winning ticket along with his friends. Boloor said he was on his way to the temple on April 4 when his friends called him to say that they received a call from his daughter that he won the draw. “At the same time, it was also my birthday. It was like a blessing to me from God,” he said.
