An Indian passport.

Indian passport services remained suspended on Saturday (August 31) after the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi announced a scheduled maintenance. However, consular services and visa services are available at all centers of M/s BLS International across the UAE. According to the embassy, the Passport Seva Portal is undergoing maintenance until 4:30am on Monday (September 2). The system was suspended since Thursday. With the system offline, passport services and other related services will remain suspended at the embassy as well as in all centres of M/s BLS International until 5pm on Sunday (September 1). Services are expected to resume on September 2, after the scheduled online portal maintenance ends. The embassy advised that BLS will reschedule the appointments of applicants for August 30 and 31, to dates between September 2 and 8. “In case the revised appointment date is not convenient to the applicant, he orshe can go to any BLS centre after the revised appointment date and submit the passport application as walk-in. No Separate appointment will be required for this purpose,” according to the embassy. ICA/Expat Media ALSO READ: Indian Embassy announces measures to assist amnesty seekers
