Apple debuts its iPhone 16 lineup along with Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and more during their Glowtime 2024 event at Cupertino Park, California. The event introduced the highly anticipated iPhone 16 lineup and updates on Apple's major product lines including the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2, AirPods 4, AirPods Max, and AirPods Pro 2. The UAE will be among the first countries to avail of the new Apple devices. The list includes 58 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, and the US. Here is everything you might have missed at Apple's 'Glowtime' Event: iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Apple has launched the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, both with the new A18 chip for improved performance. Both models feature a new camera button and an Action button for easy access to different functions. It is also available in five colors: Black, White, Pink, Teal, and Ultramarine. The iPhone 16 includes Apple Intelligence, a new AI system that will be available in beta as a free update next month. This AI improves the camera with Visual Intelligence, making it easier to take macro and spatial photos or videos. The iPhone 16 also has a 48MP main camera with a 26mm focal length and a new 48MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus. It also supports 4K60 video in Dolby Vision and features advanced video capabilities like reduced wind noise. The base 6.1-inch iPhone 16 will be priced at Dh3,399 for the 128GB model, Dh3,799 for the 256GB model, and Dh4,649 for the 512GB model. The 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus is priced at Dh3,799, Dh4,199, and Dh5,049 for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models, respectively. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max Apple also announced the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which have larger screens of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro features the thinnest bezels ever on an Apple device and comes in a new color, Desert Titanium, replacing the previous blue. The iPhone 16 Pro now has a 5x Telephoto camera, which was previously only available on the Pro Max model. It also features a 48MP main camera, a new 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a new camera control button. The iPhone 16 Pro also supports 4K video recording at 120 fps, perfect for video enthusiasts. The iPhone 16 Pro will be priced at Dh4,299 for the 128GB model, Dh4,699 for the 256GB model, Dh5,549 for the 512GB model, and Dh6,399 for the 1TB model. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will be priced at Dh5,099 for the 256GB model, Dh5,949 for the 512GB model, and Dh6,799 for the 1TB model (Apple has removed the 128GB version for this model). Apple Watch Series 10 The tech giant also announced the new Watch on Monday as it marks the 10th anniversary of the original Watch's launch in 2014. Apple said it is the thinnest and lightest watch they have launched. The 42mm aluminum version of the Watch Series 10 is priced at Dh1,599 for the GPS model and Dh1,999 for the GPS and mobile model. The 46mm aluminum version is priced at Dh1,719 and Dh2,119, respectively. The titanium version is available only with GPS and mobile models. The 42mm model with a sports band is priced at Dh2,799, while the model with a Milanese loop costs Dh2,999. The 46mm titanium version is priced at Dh2,999 and Dh3,199, respectively. Apple Watch Ultra 2 update The tech giant also announced a minor update on Watch Ultra 2 which will now come in a satin-black finish. It is priced at Dh3,199 for the model with the trail loop or ocean band, and Dh3,599 for the version with the titanium Milanese loop. Apple AirPods 4 Apple also introduced new AirPods, available in two versions: the base model at Dh549 and a new version with active noise cancelling at Dh749. Both now feature a USB-C port. Apple AirPods Pro 2 The updated AirPods Pro 2, which now includes a hearing aid feature among other new capabilities, is priced at Dh949. Apple AirPods Max AirPods Max now has new colors, Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Orange, and will be priced at Dh2,099. Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 lineup will begin this Friday.
