Iran earthquake felt in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi
DUBAI – A 5.8 magnitude earthquake that shook Qeshm island in Iran was felt across the emirates on Sunday (February 16), with UAE residents saying they felt buildings sway. The earthquake struck near Iran’s port city of Bandar Abbas at around 4:30pm. The National Centre of Meteorology in the UAE confirmed that the earthquake was “slightly felt” by residents. In Downtown Dubai, Expat Media’s headquarters, office workers and residents reported feeling the ground sway.aftershock, might be? Felt my chair was moving though. #earthquake in dubai?
