Islamic New Year: parking and Dubai transport timings

  DUBAI - Going out this Sunday? You don’t need to worry about parking fees as the Roads and Transport Authority has announced free parking in celebration of Islamic New Year 1438 on October 2. All parking fees will be reactivated on Monday, said Moaza Al Marri, RTA’s Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication. Al Marri, however, said that parking areas exempted from the free parking include the Deira Fish Market and the multi-level parking terminal. The official also said that the timings of public transport services will change during the long weekend.
