Organisers of Pope Francis’ mass in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday have released a list of items that are banned from the venue. The list includes fireworks, pets and umbrellas. Those with tickets to the papal mass were earlier given an instruction sheet on what they can and cannot bring into Zayed Sports City Stadium where an expected 135,000 people will gather. According to the list, food, beverages, umbrella, flags, banners and selfie sticks are not allowed inside stadium. However, food and beverages are allowed on the bus, and small folding chairs may be used by mass goers outside the stadium. Here is the list of prohibited items during the papal mass:

Animals Alcoholic beverages Balloons Banners (except those that do not exceed 1.5m x 2m in size) Bags (large sizes) Bottles Boxes Cameras (except for private use) and video cameras Charity materials Chairs (except for folding chairs sized 60cm x 40cm). Cooler boxes Confetti Computers and laptops Cups or cans Drums Fireworks, flares Flags (except flags that don’t exceed 1.5m x 2m in size) Flagpoles Food (not allowed inside stadium) Highly flammable objects like gas spray cans Hooters, horns Laser pointers Leaflets Signages Sharp objects Selfie sticks Sound recorder Suitcases Megaphones Narcotics Paper rolls Pyrotechnics Racist or xenophobic materials Smoke canister, smoke bombs, smoke powder Umbrellas Vuvuzelas Weapons
