A trip to Jebel Jais just got easier. Visitors can now drive up to the UAE’s highest peak without entry permits or access fees, as Ras Al Khaimah’s iconic mountain destination reopens fully to the public. Guests are free to explore scenic viewpoints, outdoor attractions and leisure areas at their own pace. For those planning to dine at 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant, a confirmed reservation must be presented upon arrival. Dining at 1484 by Puro: A high-altitude delight Meanwhile, Red Rock BBQ has reopened and is once again serving its full à la carte menu in its relaxed mountain setting. Adventure seekers can also mark their calendars. The Jais Sky Tour will officially resume operations on February 18. The multi-zipline experience runs Wednesdays to Sundays and on public holidays at 9:30am, 11:30am and 2pm. The attraction takes guests across dramatic mountain landscapes in the Hajar range and offers a high-altitude adventure designed for thrill seekers and nature lovers. Jebel Jais is located in Ras Al Khaimah and is known for record-breaking attractions such as Jais Flight, recognised as the world’s longest zipline. Visitors can also explore Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, hiking trails and panoramic viewpoints overlooking rugged peaks.
