Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) has unveiled a new skate park, adding yet another exciting recreational space to its landscape. Designed with a mix of functionality and aesthetics, the park boasts ramps, rails, and bowls, offering skaters an exhilarating experience. One of the standout features of the skate park is its artistic appeal. Renowned artist Madeline Butcher has infused the park with a striking abstract design titled Sidewalk Surfers. The artwork aligns with global artistic trends, emphasizing movement, individuality, and nature-inspired aesthetics. “The idea behind Sidewalk Surfers was to create an energetic, immersive space that complements the vibrancy of JLT. It’s about freedom, expression, and motion—all key elements of skateboarding,” Butcher shared. Skaters of all skill levels are welcome at the facility, which is open daily from 8am to 10pm.
