After wowing Dubai at Expo 2020, Juan Karlos made a triumphant return, winning over fans with his heartfelt performance at Pinoy Beats. Juan Karlos effortlessly switched from smooth ballads to rock anthems, showing why he’s one of the Philippines’ most beloved young artists. The charming crooner opened up to the audience, reminiscing about his last visit and pouring his heart into each song, from Buwan to the stirring Manhid. “I have been away from Dubai for so long. The last time I was here, I was with another person,” he mused, alluding to his past and how much life has changed since then. Yet, his connection with the city remains strong, as fans eagerly welcomed him back with open arms. At Pinoy Beats in The Agenda, the young artist known for his vocal range, artistic versatility and magnetic stage presence, Juan Karlos kept the audience entertained during his 30-minute set following Kyle Echarri. Reflecting on his journey, Juan Karlos said that seeing how his music resonates with overseas Filipinos has been an incredibly fulfilling part of his career. “As a songwriter, it’s a big deal to see people relate to our music. It’s one of the best things to see fellow Filipinos use our songs to connect with home,” he shared. With an emotional setlist that included Manhid, Buwan, and Ere, Juan Karlos showcased the versatility that has won him fans from around the world. His hauntingly beautiful rendition of Buwan had the audience singing along, and when he performed his popular cover of Through the Years, he drew fans even closer, making it a night to remember. A particularly heartwarming moment came when he spotted a fan holding a sign reading, “Juan Karlos you are this Mama’s happy pill.
