Think your bicycle has what it takes to be crowned the best in the UAE? The Kalayaan 2025 Bike Fest is back in Dubai, and this time it’s bigger, bolder, and bursting with biking pride. Set to take place as part of the Kalayaan 2025 celebration on June 1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Halls 1 and 2, the competition invites Filipino cyclists of all levels — whether you're a weekend warrior or a hardcore biking enthusiast — to showcase their two-wheeled pride and joy. The event is held in partnership with Cycle2Cycle, one of the UAE’s most active Filipino biking communities. Up for grabs is the prestigious “Kalayaan Bike of the Year” title, plus exciting prizes that await the top contenders. “Whether you’ve got a custom ride, vintage fixie, or high-performance road bike, we want to see it,” say organizers. “This is your time to shine.” And the best part? Registration is absolutely free. You can sign up online, and bring your bike to the event for public viewing and judging from 8am to 8pm on the day of the festival. The Kalayaan Bike Fest is part of the larger Kalayaan 2025 celebration, which marks Philippine Independence Day with a full-day festival filled with live performances, food stalls, market booths, and thousands of kababayans coming together for an early June 1 celebration. Kalayaan 2025 is presented by Infinite Communities and Emirates Loves Philippines. “It’s more than just a competition — it’s a community,” said event volunteers. “We welcome everyone with a passion for biking, and we’re excited to see the creativity and craftsmanship that our kabayan bikers bring to the show.” For more information, interested participants can contact 055 2805318.
