Team also trades Casspi; Kings to get Evans, Hield, Galloway

  SACRAMENTO, California - The Sacramento Kings has decided to trade center DeMarcus Cousins and forward Omri forward Casspi for three players of the New Orleans Pelicans. In return, the Kings will be getting Tyreke Evans, 2016 first-round draft pick Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway as well as first and second round draft picks come summer. The trade deadline for NBA teams ends this Thursday and when asked why he didn't wait for a better offer, Sacramento King general manager Vlade Divac replied: "Most likely we would get less because I had a better deal two days ago. I don't want to go into details. I don't want to discuss the process." His reply got many curious as to what that "better deal" was. Divac also did not mention the reasons for trading Casspi. But it appears that the Kings have had enough of Cousins in particular, thus the team was more than willing to let go of him.
