Kuwait has banned a horror movie titled “Talk to Me” which stars Zoe Terake, a transgender Australian actor, despite the movie screening in other areas of the conservative Gulf region, authorities told Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Monday (August 7). The Australian movie “Talk to Me”, which was set to be released last week, has been stopped. Hisham Alghanim, vice chairman of the Kuwait National Cinema Company told AFP. The reason prompting Kuwait's movie ban “are unknown until now”, reports said. Kuwait's information ministry has reportedly refrained from releasing comments on this issue. MFD/Expat Media
