A member of Kuwait’s ruling family was apprehended while attempting to escape an enforceable prison sentence related to drug charges, authorities announced on Thursday (October 10). The arrest follows a thorough investigation and manhunt by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior. The royal, whose name has not been disclosed, was located after his movements were tracked. "No one is above the law," Kuwaiti authorities emphasized in a social media statement, stressing that the ruling applies equally to all citizens, including royals. This arrest is part of Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to ensure the rule of law is enforced across the board. This case follows a similar incident earlier in October, when another member of the ruling family was arrested for money laundering.
