Dubai saw big property sales in September, the biggest being the sale of a land near Burj Khalifa for Dh100 million, according to the Dubai Land Department (DLD). The second biggest sale was for Dh50 million for a land in Al Barsha South Fourth. In third place was a plot of land sold for Dh48 million in Umm Suqeim area. According to DLD, there was a total of 2,401 real estate transactions worth Dh6.7 billion recorded during the week ending on September 23. A total of 243 plots were sold for Dh1.29 billion, and 1,659 apartments and villas were purchased for Dh3.51 billion. Al Hebiah Fifth, a residential development in Dubai, recorded the most transactions for this week with 102 sales transactions worth Dh246.53 million. This was followed by Jabal Ali First with 37 sales transactions worth Dh162.11 million, and Al Yufrah 2 with 20 sales transactions worth Dh24 million. ICA/Expat Media
