Visitors have just a few days left to enjoy the sights, sounds, and savings at Dubai’s Global Village before it wraps up its latest season on Sunday (May 18). The popular family destination, which had initially been scheduled to close on May 11, extended its run by another week. During this final stretch, guests can enjoy discounts of up to 70 percent at various pavilions, with vendors slashing prices on everything from abayas and jalabiyas to accessories and footwear. Among the crowd-favorite deals: jalabiyas and abayas starting at Dh50, 5 tunic cloaks for Dh100, and sandals in bundles of three for just Dh100. The clearance sales mark the grand shopping finale of the season. The venue is open daily from 4pm to 1am and has lined up special events to celebrate its closing weekend, including fireworks displays on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Other limited-time offers include: • Kids Go Free: Children under 12 enter for free. • Carnaval Offer: Unlimited rides in the Carnaval area for Dh50. • Golden Bar Challenge: A chance to win Dh2,900 cash by lifting a golden bar, with a total prize pool of Dh87,000. In addition to its shopping and entertainment offerings, Global Village still features more than 250 dining outlets, including unique food concepts only available at the destination. A series of final performances and cultural acts are scheduled throughout the weekend to cap off the season.
