Dubai to create world's largest UAE flag Legos

  DUBAI – Legoland Dubai is set to create a new record-breaking UAE Lego Minifigure Flag, which would be the largest in the world, as part of UAE 50th National Day celebrations. The theme park has also lined up family-friendly celebrations from November 24 to December 4, with prizes and giveaways for guests. Visitors are invited to take part in building the world’s largest UAE Lego Minifigure Flag; and to search for Lego UAE flags as part of the UAE Lego Flag Hunt to win some awesome prizes. As part of the UAE 50th National Day celebrations, visitors can help build the world’s largest UAE Lego Minifigure Flag by picking their favourite colour of the UAE flag and building a minifigure that will ultimately contribute to a larger UAE flag Lego Minifigures. The model, which will be created by 20,000 Lego Minifigures, will stand at an astounding 3 metres in height and 6 meters in width, making it the largest UAE Lego Minifigure Flag in the world. Visitors can also take selfies at the Legoland Dubai Salute Lego Model, which forms the three-finger salute popularized by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The figure is made with more than 100,000 Lego bricks. To extend the fun even further, families can join the UAE Lego Flag Hunt at Miniland, where famous landmarks are recreated with more than 60 million Lego bricks. Families can search for hidden Lego UAE flags at Miniland and when successfully completing the hunt, winners will receive prizes. To celebrate the UAE 50th National Day even more, the young foodies will enjoy a special Dh50 combo meal at Knight’s Table with a delicious burger, finger-licking chips, a refreshing drink and irresistible ice cream together with a limited-edition pop badge. Legoland mascots Ollie and Olivia will also be around in their national day-themed outfits to welcome everyone.
