Singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi delivered an emotional, sold-out performance at Saadiyat Nights on Saturday (January 17), marking one of the most memorable nights of the 2026 concert season in Abu Dhabi. Taking to the stage on Saadiyat Island for his first international performances of 2026, the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated artist captivated fans with raw vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and his trademark humour. The crowd sang along as Capaldi performed global hits including Someone You Loved, Before You Go, and Wish You The Best, alongside newer material that highlighted his soulful sound and storytelling. Between songs, Capaldi took time to connect with the audience, sharing light-hearted moments that added warmth and intimacy to the evening. “It’s good to be back in Abu Dhabi, and this is a really lovely setup,” he told fans. “Everyone’s relaxed, chilled, and ready to have a good time.” The Abu Dhabi audience responded with enthusiasm throughout the night, delivering multiple standing ovations and turning the open-air venue into a chorus of voices.
