Lewis Capaldi’s scheduled concert in Dubai in October is now cancelled after the singer-songwriter announced he will be taking a break from performing. “I am very sorry to let you know that I’m going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future … In truth, I’m still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s and on Saturday it became obvious that I need to spend much more time getting my mental and physical and mental health in order,” Capaldi said in a statement on Instagram. The star struggled during his set at Glastonbury Festival over the weekend, with fans in the crowd singing for him as he stopped on stage during his hit song Someone You Loved. “I am so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve,” he said in his announcement. His Dubai concert has already been postponed twice, with Capaldi citing health reasons. Coca-Cola Arena, where the concert was scheduled to take place, announced that tickets to Capaldi’s concert will be automatically refunded and can take up to 21 days to process. ICA/Expat Media
