Lifetime registration card for certain Dubai vehicles   DUBAI - Three types of vehicles in Dubai will be issued lifetime registration cards beginning in January, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Tuesday. The registration cards will be issued for taxis, rental vehicles and government vehicles, according to the RTA. Once the card is issued, card holders do not need to replace the physical cards annually, although they would have to renew their registration online through the RTA app or Dubai Drive. Last week, the Abu Dhabi Police announced that it has begun issuing permanent vehicle registration cards in December. The cards are available for all motorists and do not have an expiry date, but motorists will need to renew their vehicle registration online every year.
