Light rain and cooler temperatures are expected in parts of the UAE this week, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The forecast follows Sunday’s rainfall in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, prompting yellow and amber alerts in eastern regions. The weather on Monday (December 16) will see partly cloudy skies with chances of light rain over northern and eastern areas. The sea conditions will remain rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, while inland areas may experience mist formation overnight, NCM reported. Meteorologists predict a drop in temperatures nationwide, signaling the onset of cooler winter weather.
