Abu Dhabi landmarks light up for UN event

  DUBAI – Abu Dhabi’s buildings and landmarks lit up on Sunday night as the UAE capital hosted the UN’s Global Goals House for the first time. Some of the sites that lit up in colors or with the Global Goals House logo included Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Marina Mall Sky Tower and the Adnoc headquarters. Government leaders and experts are gathering in Abu Dhabi this week for the event, which is held as part of the UN General Assembly. The week-long Global Goals House is an annual gathering that opened on Sunday. It is being held on Hub71 as an online summit for experts to tackle innovation talks and global issues.
