In a rare and simple moment that drew attention online, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan joined Fujairah Ruler Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi for a drive through Fujairah on Friday (April 17). Sheikh Hamad drove a white Range Rover while Sheikh Mohamed sat in the front passenger seat as they headed to inspect Fujairah Port. The understated car ride offered a glimpse of the UAE leadership in a more relaxed setting, something many residents noted and appreciated. During their meeting, Their Highnesses discussed national priorities and ongoing development efforts, reaffirming that the wellbeing of citizens remains central to the country’s plans. They also highlighted the values that strengthen unity in UAE society and support efforts to address challenges. At Fujairah Port, the leaders reviewed operations and measures to ensure business continuity and efficiency. They emphasised the port’s role as a key national asset supporting the UAE economy, global energy markets, and international trade.
