Loyalty points for Nol card holders soon

  DUBAI – Do you regularly use a Nol card? There’s more good news, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Wednesday (October 11). Nol cardholders will soon be able to earn points for each time they use the card, the RTA said. The scheme is expected to be rolled out by the end of 2017. Cardholders will get points for using their Nol card to pay for fares, parking fees, entrance to public parks and museums, as well as retail purchases. Khalid Al Awadhi, director of Automated Fare Collection Systems at RTA’s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, said that the points will then be converted into vouchers that Nol cardholders can use in cafes, restaurants, entertainment centres and other participating outlets.
