Man fined Dh20,000 for 4,507 child porn photos, videos A 39-year-old man has been fined Dh20,000 in Dubai for sharing 4,507 photos and videos of child pornography. The Dubai court originally fined him Dh200,000 but he appealed the verdict and the appeals court reduced his fine to Dh20,000. According to records, the man was arrested in his home after Dubai Police were alerted to suspicious online activity that were traced back to video clips that he owned. Investigators found a total of 4,507 pornographic videos and photos, most of which included children and teenagers, on his two mobile phones and three laptops. They also found a hard disk containing pornographic photos and videos in his car. He was taken into custody but was released on bail the next day. During police interrogation, the man admitted to downloading porn but denied sharing or posting them online. ICA/Expat Media
