Man of the Philippines-UAE candidates chill out at Treppan Hotel & Suites by Fakhruddin

DUBAI – Finalists of Man of the Philippines-UAE checked in at Treppan Hotel & Suites by Fakhruddin in Dubai’s Sports City as part of the group’s team building exercise ahead of the September 28 grand finals. Man of the Philippines-UAE culminates on September 28 at the Carlton Palace Hotel for the finals before two title holders are picked to be sent to Manila to compete in the Man of the Philippines grand finals on December 1. Finalists have spent a tough ten weeks preparing for the grand finals, which is why the staycation at Treppan was a welcome break. The recently rebranded hotel formerly known as Fakhruddin Hotel & Suites accommodated the candidates, organisers and crew in its spacious one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
On Friday, the delegation was welcomed at the hotel’s banquet hall by Walid Reda Shalaby, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We are pleased to host you here on your journey to the finals and we wish you all the success in representing the UAE in Man of the Philippines-UAE here in Dubai and in Man of the Philippines in Manila,” Shalaby told the group.

The finalists enjoyed a refreshing snack of canapes, sandwiches and fresh fruit and juices specially prepared by the hotel.

Later, the candidates were given a two-hour pageantry training by UAE-based model and talent scout Anna Liza Llagas of Anna Models at Treppan’s spacious function hall. Llagas said she hopes that the training will help prepare the candidates for the finals and polish them for future pageants and modelling gigs. Following the training, the candidates then headed to the gym for a fitness feature with Expat Media. More on this soon.
On Saturday, the candidates had more time to relax beginning with a hearty breakfast at the hotel’s all-day dining café.

They later went to the rooftop pool area to cool off and unwind.
