A man has been stabbed dead in Sharjah and police have arrested the suspect within 36 hours, according to Sharjah Police on Tuesday (October 3). The incident happened in Sharjah’s industrial area on Saturday (September 30). Police said that the Asian suspect was arrested with the help of Dubai Police. During interrogation, he confessed to killing the victim. The Criminal Investigation Department at the Sharjah Police said that the victim was stabbed with a blunt object and died on the spot. Further investigation also revealed that the suspect was illegally staying in the country. He now faces a criminal trial in Sharjah. ICA/Expat Media
