Filipino craftsmanship and creativity shone brightly in Dubai during the soft launch of Casa Filipina – Home of Filipino Products on September 3 at The Melrish Studio in Al Quoz. The event, organized by DMJ Ecospace, brought together designers, architects, entrepreneurs, and procurement managers, and spotlighted Manila FAME, the Philippines’ iconic design and lifestyle trade show. In his remarks, Philippine Trade Commissioner Vichael Roaring highlighted Manila FAME’s role in elevating Filipino talent on the global stage. “Today, we are turning our focus to home, fashion, and lifestyle products—the sectors highlighted by Manila FAME—because these are areas where Filipino creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation truly shine,” he said. Scheduled for October 16 to 18 in Manila, the trade show will connect Filipino artisans and entrepreneurs with international buyers. The Dubai event featured Philippine brands such as 51 All Weather, Prizmic & Brill, South Sea Veneer, Red Slab Pottery, Oricon, Finali Wall Panels, JB Woodcrafts, and eco-friendly products like sneakers made from pineapple leaves and recycled-material bags. “Together, we can strengthen collaboration, open new pathways for Filipino talent, and ensure that our creativity is recognized and celebrated worldwide,” Roaring said.
