Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is set to trade gloves for a basketball jersey, facing off against Dubai's beloved radio star Kris Fade in an epic basketball showdown. On December 2, Dubai’s Al Nasr Club will host the MPBL in UAE: Team Pacquiao vs. Team Fade, bringing together the best of sports, entertainment, and community. Pacquiao, known globally for his boxing achievements as the only eight-division world champion, is also a seasoned basketball player. He founded the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) after serving as head coach and player for the Philippine Basketball Association’s Kia/Mahindra team in 2014. Kris Fade, the vibrant host of The Kris Fade Show on Virgin Radio Dubai, is no stranger to physical challenges. His transformation from obesity to fitness advocate led him to launch his health snack brand, Fade Fit. In an exclusive interview with Expat Media, Fade shared his journey, saying, “I was anxious and unfit at 128 kilos. Through fitness and healthy eating, I lost nearly 40 kilos, and it changed my life.” The exhibition promises more than just basketball.
