A massive fire broke out late Sunday night (December 29) at a residential building in Al Barsha, near the Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Civil Defence teams responded to the emergency within minutes, arriving at the Time Topaz Hotel Apartments shortly after the blaze was reported around 10:30pm. Videos shared on social media captured the flames rapidly spreading through the structure as firefighters battled to contain the inferno.Authorities confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported. Residents affected by the fire have been temporarily relocated to nearby accommodations arranged by authorities and building management. As of Monday morning (December 30), the street in front of the building remained cordoned off to the public, with only one lane open for vehicular traffic. Retail shops located on the ground floor of the building have been temporarily shut. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
