Family Friday Brunch back at The Meydan Hotel

  DUBAI - To welcome the winter season, The Meydan Hotel has relaunched its Family Friday Brunch. Expat Media was invited to the relaunch over the weekend and we have to tell you that the five-star spread is to drool for! There must have been more than 100 items to choose from, starting from the expansive seafood display inside Farriers restaurant. There's fresh oysters, jumbo prawns, lobsters, smoked salmon and a variety of seafood cocktails. The cheese display is also a must-visit, followed by the vast bread selection, with a fresh pizza and pasta section by the corner. The festive brunch area spills out to the grand lobby where majority of the elaborate selections are on display: the Asian counter with various dimsum, live tempura cooking station and sushi station, the Middle Eastern counter with Saj and shawarmah stations, various cold cuts, roasted meat, Peking duck and even some vegetarian delights. And of course, we couldn't miss the delightful dessert and fresh fruit juice sections that contained plenty of our guilty food pleasures. There were also two cocktail stations with inventive concoctions to enjoy. To add to the fun, a three-member jazz ensemble keeps diners company with their delightful music, while a big children's play area can let the grown ups enjoy their food while the young ones get entertained by face painters, clowns, magicians and various fun activities. At Dh290 per person, this five-star treat is the real deal!
