Authorities in Sharjah confirmed on Tuesday (April 7) that a ballistic missile struck an administrative building belonging to Thuraya Telecommunications Company in the emirate’s Central Region, leaving two people injured. According to officials, the victims—both Pakistani nationals—sustained moderate injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. The incident comes as the UAE Ministry of Defence reported that air defence systems successfully intercepted one ballistic missile and 11 drones launched from Iran on the same day. Authorities said that since the start of the attacks, UAE air defences have intercepted a total of 520 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,221 drones. Officials also confirmed that the total number of fatalities has reached 10 civilians of various nationalities, along with two martyrs, including a Moroccan contractor working with the Armed Forces.
