A 22-year-old Norwegian tourist who has been reported missing in Sharjah has been found, according to Sharjah Police. Saqlain Munir was found at a Sharjah hospital on Saturday (December 9) following a 38-hour search, police said. Munir went missing on Thursday evening (December 7) and his mobile phone was switched off. His family described him as person with disability. The Norwegian and his father flew from Norway to the UAE for a holiday before his treatment in Pakistan. They stayed with a relative in Sharjah’s Al Qasimiya area. On Friday, a person who found Munir’s phone communicated with his family, helping police narrow down their search, and eventually find Munir. ICA/Expat Media
