The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) is participating in the 42nd edition of GITEX Technology Week, which kicked off on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Center and will last until October 14. Over the course of the five-day event, the ministry will showcase the latest smart health services and sustainable solutions designed based on artificial intelligence techniques to promote the UAE’s digital health system, enhance its efficiency, performance, and reliability and pave the way for more sophisticated services. Ahmad Ali Al Dashti, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector in MoHAP, stressed that the ministry is keen to take part in every new edition of GITEX to display its smart services tailored to upgrade the national health system. "The ministry is constantly working to develop and introduce new smart services to make sure that customers are satisfied, support the goals of the smart government, and also achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership. This comes in line with the principles of 50th, which aims to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world, “Al Dashti said. The future of healthcare Al Dashti stated that the ministry will be displaying a variety of high-quality and cutting-edge services that simulate the future of health care, alongside technological innovators from the most prominent technology companies in the world. He invited experts and interested parties to visit the ministry's platform in Sheikh Saeed Hall No. 31, which is part of the digital government pavilion, to have a distinctive experience with health technology solutions that surpass their expectations and boost the competitiveness of the ministry. Projects in GITEX During the event, the ministry will highlight the latest developments introduced to the Al Hosn app, the UAE's official app for contact tracing and health status related to COVID-19, and one of the national digital systems launched by the country since the outbreak of Covid-19. The App is known for its credibility and reliability. The ministry is also showcasing the Riayati e-Claims Post Office, which falls under the National Unified Medical Record (NUMR) – Riayati. The e-Claims Post Office aims to manage and track the central information related to electronic insurance claims using unified coding for all service providers and insurance companies. The ministry will also be displaying an updated version of its website after being restructured to ease browsing and enable proactive problem solutions for technological issues. The updated website allows faster and easier access to information. It also offers revised, updated, and reorganized content in several languages. Other innovative projects being showcased also include the updated version of the MoHAP app, which was upgraded in accordance with the latest technologies to increase the usage rate of digital services by making it simple to access the Ministry's services.
