The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has begun evaluating nominees for the UAE’s first Emirates Labour Market Award. According to MOHRE, it has started field visits and evaluation processes under the supervision of specialised committees. The award received more than 3,500 nominations. The Emirates Labour Market Award has three categories, and winners will be announced in a ceremony in November. The Emirates Labour Market Award honours outstanding employees, employers and practices in the workplace. The award comprises three main categories: the establishments category, which aims to acknowledge exceptional establishments; the workforce category, which targets outstanding workers who have served the UAE's business sector and community; and the business service partners category, which acknowledges companies that support the development of leading labour market practices.
