The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has unveiled the 2025 edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award with an expanded prize pool of Dh50 million and a greater focus on sustainability and worker welfare. Launching the third edition of the award on Monday (April 7), MoHRE announced that the number of winners will also increase to 98, with new categories spotlighting sustainable labour accommodations and recreational initiatives. Under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the award is the UAE’s first of its kind recognizing private sector excellence. “The Emirates Labour Market Award has become a symbol of excellence and leadership,” said Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation. New perks include discounts of up to Dh1.2 million on MoHRE services for top companies, and cash prizes of up to Dh100,000 for individual awardees. Applications are open at riyada.mohre.gov.ae until August 31.
