Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to move vehicles off the road after minor accidents. This message is part of their "Path of Safety" campaign, promoting safe driving practices. They remind drivers that moving vehicles off the road after minor accidents does not impact liability decisions. The authority further warned that drivers who leave their vehicles on the road after a minor accident may face a Dh500 fine. The police pointed out that leaving vehicles on the road after minor accidents has caused serious accidents that could have been avoided by clearing the road. The police have also launched the "Saaed" app to make it easier for drivers to report minor accidents. How to report through the "Saaed" app? - Select the accident reporting service - Enter a phone number to determine their location - Choose the type of accident - Upload images of your vehicle ownership, driver’s license, and photos of the damages. Drivers should also confirm that all information is accurate, include details of the vehicles involved, and finalise the request to receive a reference number. After reporting, the police advised drivers involved in an accident to move their vehicles to the nearest safe location while awaiting assistance from the Abu Dhabi Police Command and Control Centre.
