This year’s Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN will be held in Dubai, pageant organizers announced in a press conference on Thursday (January 25). Mrs. Universe Philippines is aimed at “empowering and inspiring married Filipina women in the Middle East, with Dubai as franchise holder.” The pageant is a “movement to redefine beauty,” said Grace Yurie Moore, pageant director. Moore was joined by co-pageant director Julie Ann Aragon; international pageant director Arnold Alvarez; director Albert Gayo and pageant media director Chris Daymon at the press conference in Khalidia Palace Hotel in Dubai. The organizers announced that up to 30 women will be competing for the crown in the grand finals scheduled on June 22 at Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai. Auditions are expected to open soon.
