Indian expatriates in the UAE will get the chance to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visits Abu Dhabi in February. The community event, Ahlan Modi, will be held at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on February 13. Registration is free on ahlanmodi.ae. According to organisers, more than 20,000 people have registered for Ahlan Modi so far. Modi is expected to address the Indian expat community during the event. It will be his seventh visit to the UAE, and will be held a day before Modi inaugurates the BAPS Hindu Mandir, the region’s first handmade Hindi stone temple in Abu Dhabi. On Tuesday (January 9), Modi received UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the latter's working visit to India. Both leaders signed key agreements in renewable energy, food processing and health care. ICA/Expat Media
