More tourists will get the chance to explore the Arabian Gulf as several cruise liners will soon arrive in Abu Dhabi, the emirate's authorities announced on Wednesday (September 18). The Department of Culture and Tourism—Abu Dhabi (DCT—Abu Dhabi) has introduced several new initiatives to enhance the emirate's status as a top cruise destination. These new initiatives include an exclusive digital cruise guide and a new visitor information center at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal. Cruise crew members will also get a new Cruise Crew Pass, which offers big discounts on food, shopping, and attractions in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is known globally as one of the top cruise destinations. Last year, the emirate won four awards at the 2023 World Cruise Awards, including the World's Best Cruise Destination and Middle East's Best Cruise Destination, while Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal at Zayed Port was awarded as the World's Best Cruise Terminal and the Middle East's Best Cruise Terminal.
