The newly launched Ajman NuVentures Centre Free Zone (ANCFZ) is redefining business setup in the UAE, offering licences in two hours and visas within 24 hours. Since its launch two months ago, the free zone has already attracted more than 450 companies across various sectors, said CEO Rishi Somaiya. Somaiya highlighted the innovative and client-centric approach of the free zone, which operates entirely digitally. “Investors don’t need to download or print applications. Our team prepares everything, verifies the data, and handles all the documentation. The client just needs to sign digitally,” he said. ANCFZ specializes in streamlining the business setup process, reportedly issuing licences within two hours instead of 4 days, and visas in 24 hours instead of 20 days. According to its website, it offers business licences starting at Dh4,888. The free zone supports emerging industries, offering licenses for gaming, blockchain, AI, and more. ANCFZ also provides affordable packages, such as a two-year visa and 10 activities for Dh10,800 with upfront payment, and instalment plans starting from Dh12,000. Addressing a common hurdle for start-ups, Somaiya revealed that ANCFZ-licensed companies can open bank accounts in just seven to 10 days, thanks to partnerships with local banks. ICA/Expat Media
