Abu Dhabi residents can now manage and access all healthcare services in new app, 'Sahatna'. 'Sahatna' is a mobile application launched by the capital's Department of Health that allows users to manage their health and access a wide range of healthcare services. The app lets users book and manage appointments, with the option to speak to healthcare providers either in person or online. They can also take care of their own healthcare needs and those of their family members. They can also access medical records through Malaffi platform. This allows them to view tests, medications, and vaccination records.The platform can also allow users to link the medical records of their family members. Participants in the Emirates Genome Programme can now access their genomic reports through the app, helping them make informed health and lifestyle decisions based on their genetic information. App Features Symptom Checker- Users can use an AI-powered symptom checker to assess their symptoms online. By entering their symptoms, they can get a list of possible conditions and guidance based on the severity, helping them decide if they need to visit the emergency room or an urgent care center. Smartwatch connectivity- the app allows users to connect their smartwatch to track their sleep patterns and step counts. Health recommendations- the app also gives recommendations on the user's personal health goals based on their activity and movement history. According to the authority, more advanced features will be added on the app soon. The app is now available on Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.
