New Dh150m bridge to Deira Islands to open soon and will link the project to Al Khaleej Road

  DUBAI - A new bridge leading to the Deira Islands project will open to motorists on Friday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Sunday (December 11). The bridge was built at a cost of Dh150 million and will link Deira Islands with Al Khaleej Road. Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, said the bridge is linked with Al Khaleej Road in the direction of the new ships harbour and fish market along the stretch of Abu Baker Al Siddique Road, starting from the roundabout at the intersection with Al Khaleej Road. The Deira Islands project is made up for four man-made islands along the stretch of Deira Beach.
