Revelers during UAE National Day are banned from using party sprays, according to new rules announced by the Ministry of Interior. According to the ministry, the use of any party spray by drivers, passengers or pedestrians is strictly prohibited. It warned that violators will be fined, and if the offense happened in a vehicle, it will be impounded. In previous years, revelers in Dubai's Al Rigga and other areas were reported to have used party sprays on passing cars and pedestrians to celebrate UAE National Day, littering the streets. Party sprays come in different forms. Some spew foam, while others spew colored strings. The use of party sprays has been banned in other parts of the world for various reasons, including cleanup and removal costs and fears of potential damage to vehicle paint or other items.
