100% Emiratisation in these jobs in 5 years

  DUBAI – In a big push for Emiratisation, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently issued a circular on job placements for Emiratis in five years. "Stop the employment of expatriates in supervisory, administrative and support services jobs in the federal entities from the date this circular is published," part of the advisory read. According to the authority, supervisory roles must be occupied by Emiratis in five years, with a few exemptions. Companies have also been told to increase their number of Emirati employees by 10 percent every year. In government offices, Emiratis must also cover 90 percent of jobs in administrative and support services by 2024. FAHR also asked companies to develop a 10-year Emiratisation plan for specialist and technical jobs that will be submitted to the Cabinet within two months.
